Ignite conference ' 08
19th november 2008, saturday.

today was ignite conference ' 08 @ heart of God church.
but early in the morning arnd 6.50 i woke up already, had to go for passport extension.
reached there about 8.30. There was hardly any people extending their passport so the waiting time wasn't long.
after that, me and my mum went to bugis, had breakfast there and tim met up with us later.
Just as tim arrives, my mum decided that she would want to go to the nearest temple and pray there, so she left.
both me and tim walked around bugis and saw some clothings and bags that make us feel interested to buy.
T-shirt grapnic clothes are really nice, very unqiue and colourful, and adidas bags are still nice :D
after walking around, we contacted Giana and asked her to meet up with us and to for discipleship.
Met up @ Paya Lebar Mrt station.
Alright, today's theme for Ignite conference was School Uniform, so all those who have uniforms had to wear them.
i wore unity uniform (DUH) but after that changed to the table tennis jersey. LMAO.
They had their breakfast there and giana started her sharing, which was basically talking about the weaknesses of the temperaments in life.
it was kinda distracting as other CGs were there, so i didn't really absorbed much about what she said.
but overall, she talked alot about Sanguine people.
After that, met up with other small groups of ACTS1 and went to the entrance of Ignite conference together. It was really crowded and i could hardly find a spot to sit.
Giana was being nice by waiting outside for Doreens arrival.
she pass her the ticket and we all stood together and chit chat.
i passed her the sermon CD last week, hope she still remembers that CD. LOL
it was finally our turn to move, but we were separated with Andy and the rest, so we decided to wait for their turn to move on.
Later on, as we were awaiting, some photographer ask us for some poses to put in their website, of course we jolly well let him took it. LOLA!
Finally they came, took the lift together to the Heart of God church.
REALLY MAN, THEIR CHURCH IS HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
and Church Of Singapore is gonna be like that soon~ :D:D:D
Soon, the Conference starts, it started of with speeches from the pastors of the church. Later on, the P&W team from COSBT sang the songs, it was so awesome la.
they are so much better when it comes to singing at there.
And when at church, they don't perform as well, ( sorry lisa ) :D
After that, a short testimony from Brother Christian (a name) was shared to all of us.
it was about how his teacher in the bible school, Pastor Joakim, impacted his life.
this pastor, pastor Joakim was one if the top most influential preacher in world as well as sweden, he has came across with many BIG people of the world, such as ministers of America and Famous pastor around the world. But the Biggest Man he has even exprerience is Jesus, it was by the power of God that he is blessed with such ability to speak to all of us.
Not only that he tell us about the word of God, but also many many impactful testimony that has happen in his life before, from his friends and his own exprerience.
For the first session, he talked about '' My school, the most important place on earth ''
i was kinda stumbled when he says that, cos to me, schools aint that cool. LOLA!
but he gave reasons, and now IT IS COOL!

7 reasons why the school is the most important place on earth for christians

1. Jesus Loves young people
2. Everybody ( classmates and friends ) is there
3. YOU ARE THERE!
4. Strong relationships are built~! :D
5. You get many opportunities
6. The word of God has time to work.
Lastly
7. A movement has already begun! :D

THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE!
one of the testimony about this sermon that i find it best was this.
that was this girl, teenage girl. More of a loner in class and has never exprerience Love from anyone before.
She thinks that she should commit sucide and let her life ends.
and of all day, she choose the next day which was Valentines day.
She told herself that she would die on the day of Love and Friendship as such things never existed in her life before.
But just as also one day before the Valentines day, some christians from New Generation decided to draw out 1500 Heart shapes with writing on it, most people have the same message and its written: God loves you!
Just as that EMO girl was walking her way to school, she told herself, '' if i ever were to recieve abit of love and concern this Valentines day, then i will choose not to die.
Just as she was going to the lockers column, she saw thousands of heart shape sticked on the lockers of students.
She saw hers, and it was written this, '' God was given you chance and Love'' ( i think so )
but because of that letter, only that small letter, it has prevented a little teen girl from commiting sucide, i believe she cried and hopes to find the main organiser for this project.
Now this teen is serving in New Generation and its impacting lives using her testimony, its wonderful. :D

after his message to us, it was an hour break time.
i took some rest and voila 2nd session starts.
this time the band is from heart of God church, their band is awesome, music quality are not so bad but i love the passion that they have for God, it was fantastic. :D
sang Hosanna as the main song, GREAT! but boring though, sang about 4 times. LOL
ok, back to sermon by pastor Joakim, this time his sermon was darn lots of testimony, really man, if they got sell sermon CD, i will buy.
its really awesome to hear those testimony.
there was this guy with the name NILS and he was those who doesn't believes in God.
so he tested God, asking Him, if you are real, make me puke!
ok, this guy is a weirdo, for asking for such an prayer.
HALLELUJAH, God bless him. HAHAHHAS!
he puked and from then now, he accepted God, SO! GOD IS A GOD OF PRAYERS & IS ALWAYS WILLING TO ANSWER PRAYERS! HOW COOL IS THAT!
well, nil is just a joker.
but the next testimony was different, it was about sara.
she was a cheerful and happy girl in her High school.
just like any other teens. she shop and play.
After that, people pray that she will recieve Christ and voila, she did.
but it was sad, as time goes on, she developed cancer and it was starting to spread throughout her body.
She was just a fresh christian and she told pastor Joakim that no matter what happens, she didn't regret being christian and wishes that more people will be save thorugh christ.
obviously that was touching.
After that, Pastor Joakim prayed for her, and she was healed!
now she is serving God in her church and bringing people about her testimony, i think that IS awesome! :D
Praise the Lord.
After the Service, Andy gathered us for a small talk, talking about how we can change our lives in school and how we change other lives in school.
we decided to do something this valentines day. :D
so be prepared PEOPLE! :D
COS GOD IS GONNA ROCK YOUR WORLD INSIDE OUT, UPSIDE DOWN!
after that talk, i went to buy the new generation Tshirt, :D
its nice la. LOVE IT. :D
After that went for dinner at Bukit Batok, Westmall.
had dinner with lisa, shuan, cheese, sherry, shi min, doreen, abi-joy, tim, warren, mabel and wei wei jie jie. hahas!
had lots of laughter and also God fun! LOL.
went back home after this, me and doreen and tim and warren walked home from cck back home. WOOOO
it was SUPER FUN on the way back, we all sang songs and was praising God with all my remaining strength. Just as we fetch Doreen home, me and tim and warren went crazy for God.
WE SANG PRAISE SONGS TO GOD AND WAS RUNNING AND JUMPING ON THE WAY BACK HOME, IT WAS SO COOL AND EXTRAORDINARY, I EVEN PRAYED LOUDLY COS GOD'S PRESENCE IS THERE~
IT WAS SO DARN FUN! WE DIDN'T CARE HOW OTHERS THINK, WE JUST KEPT GOING ON AND ON AND ON.
GOD I LOVE YOU! :D
